What If You’ve Been Playing Small Without Realizing It?

There’s a quiet script many high-achieving women are handed early in life. Be nice. Be helpful. Be grateful. Be good. So we perform. We please. We strive.
And somewhere along the way, we stop asking for more.
Not because we don’t want it… But because we’ve been taught that wanting more makes us selfish, ungrateful, or too much.
But let me ask you something:
When did it become wrong to want a life that actually excites you?
When did “good enough” become the ceiling?
The truth is, many brilliant, capable women are stuck in roles and routines that look fine on the outside—but sometimes hollow on the inside.
And it’s not because they lack ambition. It’s because they’ve been taught to suppress it in favor of what’s expected.
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what it really means to give ourselves permission:
To speak up.
To desire more.
To take up space.
To be led by truth.
If any part of this stirred something in you… keep an eye on this space.
Something is coming. A shift. An invitation. A moment of permission.
For now, let this be your gentle reminder:
You don’t need to be more good. You need to be more you.
And here’s what I want you to sit with this week: Who could you become if you started being who your true self wants you to be??
